Overview

The ApexSQL Affiliate program offers you the chance to offer purchase links directly from your web site and get automatic commissions on sales OR referrals. Furthermore, you can offer software at a 10% discount to ensure customers buy directly from your site.

Affiliate Program

How does the Affiliate program work?

Simply place links (generated from the affiliate management module) to our software on your site. Users click them, buy ApexSQL software and you get immediately credited with the sales. Even if users don't buy immediately, you can get a commission if they purchase anytime in the next 6 mos. assuming the tracking cookie still exists on their computer. Commissions are paid automatically via share-it.

Here is an example of a simple referral based affiliate page, note the link.  If a visitor simply clicks this link and buys ApexSQL software anytime in the next 6 months, you will get a commission for the sale.

How can I improve my affiliate sales?

Discount Coupons: We can provide you with a discount coupon upon sign-up to embed in the link to ensure customers get a discounted price only if they buy directly from you. This ensures you capture all the sales. This doesn’t affect your affiliate commission %. Contact sales@apexsql.com after you have completed your sign up for this coupon and help setting it up.

Relevant Content: Write content, articles, blog posts and integrate this into your affiliate program.

By combining BOTH relevant content to attract visitors and a discount coupon for your end customers you can create an affective affiliate program.

Here is an excellent example of an advanced implementation of an affiliate marketing program that integrates both of these programs.

The "Buy now" link leads to a product page with already discounted prices and direct buy links making it easy for customer to purchase directly from the affiliate.

Can you tell me more about the Affiliate Program?

ApexSQL's Affiliate program offers an excellent and easy way for you to generate more revenue for your business by offering ApexSQL software as part of your website/online product offerings. This program is a commission based referral program implemented in conjunction with Share-it! - Digital River.

We have an agreement with Share-it! to help you manage your program. Once you are registered, you will gain access to a control panel and will be able to see what products are available for you to market. From there, you will be able to generate product and checkout links on your Web site with your Affiliate ID. This ensures that you get paid for any sale that was referred through your link.

Our Affiliate program is based on a "sticky" model.  Not only will you receive a commission on your sale, but your customers will get a discount off our prices.  This way, customers will "stick" to your website for the purchase and future purchases instead of coming to us later and paying full MSRP*. 

* MSRP = Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price

How does the "Sticky" Affiliate model work?

Once you register as an ApexSQL affiliate with share-it, request a discount coupon from sales@apexsql.com to embed in your affiliate links (generated through the affiliate control panel).  These links will contain your unique affiliate ID which will credit the sale to you.  You will have to manually embed the discount code.

The idea is that you drive customers to your site with your own marketing efforts using the best promotion of all - cheaper software.  Customers then "stick" to your website.

What is the Affiliate Commission and Discount rate?

The commission rate currently is 20%, and your customers will get at 10% discount off our MSRP*.

How will I get paid for my referrals?

You can receive payments either by check or wire transfer, in USD, EUR, or GBP. You can set your preferred payment method in your Share-it! control panel under 'Personal Data.'

When will I get paid?

Share-it! sends out payment reports to affiliates on the eighth of each month for the previous month's sales. Payment is then made on the fifteenth for the previous month's earnings, provided you reach the minimum payment amount of 100 EUR/USD or 70 GBP in commission earnings.

All you need to do is place links on your Web site that include an additional parameter to point to our product and purchase pages. This parameter allows us to track sales generated by your referral so we can pay you. This is not a Reseller program. We have an aggressive volume pricing structure that you can leverage.
